Life Skills & Executive Functioning

This service focuses on developing essential executive functioning skills—like planning, organizing, flexible thinking, and sustained attention—through structured routines and hands-on activities. We use visual schedules, first/then boards, and behavior chaining to support children in completing multistep tasks and increasing independence. Skills taught may include self-care routines, time management, clean-up habits, and daily transitions, all framed in a way that fosters autonomy and problem-solving.

Best for: kids who struggle with transitions, routine adherence, impulsivity, or organization.
Benefits include: reduced parental prompting, greater task initiation, better emotional resilience, and long-term independence in home and school settings.
