Support For Neurodivergent Kids, Built Around Who   They   Are

OUR SERVICES

Little Wings is an ESA-approved provider. Families may choose private pay or use ESA funding through ClassWallet or ESA debit card.

Academic Tutoring/IEP Support

Academic support is tailored to each child’s learning profile and individual goals. Sessions may include reading, writing, and math instruction, along with scaffolded support aligned with IEP goals or 504 accommodations. Instruction is structured, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate, supporting both skill-building and academic confidence.

Life Skills & Executive Functioning

Daily routines are often where challenges show up most clearly. Sessions focus on building skills like planning, organization, flexible thinking, and follow-through through hands-on, real-world routines. Support is practical and structured, helping children build independence and confidence in transitions, self-care, and everyday responsibilities.

Emotional Regulation & Social Skills

Our approach to emotional regulation and social skill development is thoughtful, neurodivergent-affirming, and developmentally appropriate. Sessions focus on helping children recognize and express emotions, build coping strategies, and practice social skills through play, role-play, and real-world scenarios. Support is gentle and strengths-based, helping children navigate frustration, communication, and peer interactions with greater confidence.

Community-Based Instruction (CBI)

We provide community-based instruction through real-world, hands-on learning experiences. Sessions take place in community settings such as stores, libraries, or public spaces and are designed to support independence, safety awareness, and practical social skills. Support is intentional and strengths-based, helping children practice everyday skills, problem-solving, and confidence in natural environments.

Respite/Caregiving

Families sometimes need dependable support that allows space to rest and reset. Care is guided by each child’s individual routines and needs, with an emphasis on comfort, regulation, and engagement. Time together is calm and intentional, helping children feel safe and supported while families feel confident in the care being provided.

Sensory & Motor Development

Sessions are designed around movement and sensory input that support regulation and body awareness. Activities may include gentle yoga, breathwork, and hands-on movement to promote coordination, motor planning, and nervous system regulation. Support is thoughtfully paced and responsive to individual sensory needs.

About Little Wings

Little Wings was created to offer flexible, non-medical support that meets kids where they are - without asking them to change who they are to fit the world around them.

The work here is rooted in respect for neurodiversity and focused on helping children build practical tools for regulation, independence, and everyday life. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, support is designed to grow with each child and family, honoring individual strengths, needs, and goals.

I’m Kalyn, though most families know me as Bird, and I’m the founder and sole operator of Little Wings. I bring over 12 years of experience working alongside neurodivergent children and families across early childhood education, in-home support, special education, and ABA-based settings.

That background shapes how Little Wings works today: structured without being restrictive, supportive without being clinical. Services are designed to pair well with ABA, therapies, and school-based supports, and collaboration with care teams is welcomed to ensure consistency and shared goals. Little Wings exists to advocate for kids, support families, and create space for meaningful growth—without rigidity, pressure, or corporate systems getting in the way.
